As part of the digitalization of the country's scientific infrastructure, the "Scientific Councils Portal" has launched another critical feature. A unified electronic registry containing detailed information on all scientific councils operating across Uzbekistan and registered with the Supreme Attestation Commission (OAK) is now available.

This feature allows researchers to quickly search for and locate relevant councils nationwide according to their specific fields of study.

🗂 What Information Is Included in the Unified Registry?

Through the centralized database implemented on the portal, the following information can be accessed in real-time:

  • List and Location of Councils: Which scientific councils are active under specific higher education or scientific research institutions.

  • Specialty Codes: The specific branches of science and academic specialties (codes) for which the council is authorized to accept dissertations.

  • Council Membership: Official details regarding the council chairman, deputy chairman, scientific secretary, and council members (professors and scientists).

  • Operational Status: The current terms of authority and regulations of the council as approved by the Supreme Attestation Commission (OAK).

💡 How Does This Benefit Researchers?

Previously, young scholars had to contact various institutions or search through scattered resources just to find where a scientific council for their specialty existed, who its members were, or what its submission criteria required.

The new digital system maps out the country's entire scientific potential on a single platform, eliminating unnecessary time loss and ensuring absolute transparency.
